One runner today at Chepstow.

4.40pm Cilaos Glacé runs in a handicap hurdle over 2m.
Cilaos won very nicely at Fontwell last time out.

Cilaos had shown plenty of promise in his previous runs but due to the fact he was so keen in his races we had not been able to ride him very close to the pace, so he’d been staying on well from out of his ground.
Cilaos has been a work in progress and all of that effort was repaid last time out when he looked impressive, let’s hope he can build on that.

Cilaos is a big, very good looking horse by Viox Du Nord who is a stallion that has had plenty of recent success siring the champion hurdle winner and also Kemboy at Aintree on Thursday.

Cilaos was once extremely strong on the gallops but he has settled down well now and he is pretty straightforward to deal with.

He will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Cilaos is looked after and will be led up by Gracie O’Reilly, he is ridden at home by Harry Beswick.
