One runner today at Southwell.

Paseo runs in a flat race over 1m 4f.

Paseo fell out of the stalls in his most recent flat race at Kempton it was only his second flat race and he looked like a jumper, racing in a relaxed style and then staying on at the finish.

Paseo wants decent ground so therefore we haven’t been able to run him over hurdles for a while.

He’s running here to keep him ticking over and after today he will have a handicap mark, we will then have the option of running him on the flat if these desperate conditions persist...it’s just another string to his bow and it gives us options.

Paseo is a fantastic jumper and he has been so consistent since we bought him, he will jump a fence and I think he’ll improve for another summer on his back.

He’s a cheeky chappy, very jaunty and happy in his work and kind to deal with.

He will be ridden by Tom Greatrex.

Paseo is looked after by Amy Deans who also rides him at home, he will be led up by Kai Lenihan
