I was delighted with the run of Lady In Hiding, the conditions were testing and she showed herself to be really tough when finishing third against the boys.
I hope the race doesn’t leave its mark but Leighton was as sympathetic as he could be given the circumstances.

One runner today at Aintree.

4.10pm Wheesht runs in a mares bumper over 2m.
Wheesht is a stunning looking mare who has won her only race to date, a point to point in Ireland, for team Crawford from whom we have acquired some lovely horses for this syndicate over the last few seasons.

Wheesht jumps fantastically well at home and whatever she does today she will improve upon over obstacles, she takes a lot of work and I thought a spin in a bumper would put her spot on to begin her hurdling campaign.

Wheesht is quite a busy mare at home, she’s very straightforward to train and thrives on her work.

She will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Wheesht is looked after by Gracie O’Reilly but she is away so she will be led up by Andy Llewellyn who rides her out at home.
