One runner today at Lingfield.

1pm Cilaos Glacé runs in a novice hurdle over 2m.
Cilaos ran a very good race first time out to finish fourth from a seemingly impossible position turning into the home straight.
He had to be ridden with restraint because he can be very strong when he gets upsides other horses and he had run far too freely on his only previous outing.
As I said in my write up on that day, he is a work in progress, if we can’t get him to relax in his races he’ll never live up to the potential he shows us at home.

Cilaos took that race well and today will be another step up the ladder, I’m sure Leighton will want to take his time on him but with eighteen runners he will need plenty of luck in running.

Cilaos is a big very good looking horse, he’s strong to ride at times but a nice person in his stable.

He will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Cilaos is looked after and will be led up by Jana Stefanova, he is ridden at home by Nick Bentley.
