27/01/20 weekly runners review.
Vinnie The Hoddie - he’s an extremely frustrating horse, he’s never jumped right before and I think it could be due to his fall last time out.
I’m going to revert to hurdles with him for this season to try and regain his confidence, he’s an exceptional jumper at home so m hoping it’s just a temporary blip.
Makety - she ran a blinder on a track that didn’t suit her but we ran at for the ground conditions.
She looked the likely winner from two out and if she’d really pinged the last I think she would have won.
She deserves a bit of luck.
Wheesht - I was really pleased with her, she was much more settled and relaxed.
She will get further and would appreciate better ground, she’s going the right way.
No No Maestro - he ran perfectly ok, he’s still a work in progress and with the rain that fell during the afternoon it made conditions very testing by the last race.
He will now have a handicap mark and I’ll put him away and wait for better ground, he will handle soft ground at some stage he’s just not strong enough yet.
