One runner today at Southwell.

4.45pm Ourvilles Million runs in a bumper over 2m.
Ourvilles has the most wonderful temperament, he’s very similar in looks and personality to Deputy Dan, he is half asleep most of the time and chews everything in sight. Unlike Dan he can be a bit of a boy at times on the downs but in a cheeky way there is no malice in him.

When Ourvilles ran in his first bumper at Uttoxeter he took me completely by surprise, for a horse who is normally so laid back he was very keen and as a result he didn’t finish his race.
I really don’t like my bumper horses going backwards at the end of a race no matter where they finish so it was disappointing but as I said it was out of character for him.
He will be ridden with more restraint today.

Ourvilles does work well at home and has done plenty of schooling so he will be
going hurdling after this.

He will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Ourvilles is looked after and will be led up by Elle Lloyd, he is ridden at home by Chloe Boxall.
