After a few disappointing efforts over the last couple of weeks I’ve decided to give the majority of my string a quiet ten days.
They look well and are fresh and happy at home but too many have pulled up for no apparent reason.
I know it’s nothing serious, they are scoping clean and the blood test results are normal from the random selection we’ve tested.
They will continue to canter every day so their fitness levels won’t be too difficult to regain, they just won’t do anything too fast and less of it.
The horses were so fresh this morning on day one of their break that I think it’s going to be an interesting time for my team.........squeaky bum time.
