Two runners today.

Chepstow 3.40pm Book Of Gold runs in a handicap hurdle over 3m.

Book ran a blinder at Newbury last time out and had he not made a mistake at the last flight he might have been second, that was his first attempt in a handicap and at this trip.

Book has got first time cheek pieces on today to help him to travel better and to sharpen up his jumping, which is faultless at home.

Book is a big strapping son of Flemensfirth who will make a better chaser next season as he’s a thorough galloper but he is perfectly capable of picking up a hurdle or two on the way.

He will be ridden by Conor Shoemark.

Kempton 4.10pm Enjoy Responsibly runs in a handicap chase over 2m 4f.

Enjoy was impressive when winning first time out for us at Fakenham over this trip, he then didn’t get home over further at Bangor before running a bit lacklustre back at Fakenham in mid December.

Some of my horses were running a bit flat at that time and I decided to give him a good break to really freshen him up and try to get him back to how he was first time out, he’s been in good order over the last few weeks and hopefully he will show that today.

If you are going to Kempton watch him going to the start because if he’s on form he puts his head between his front legs and has a good old buck on his way to post, it’s amusing to watch although Harry does have to sit pretty tight. Strangely (and thankfully for Andy) he never bucks at home but he can be pretty keen in his work.

He will be ridden by Harry Beswick.

Book is looked after and will be led up by Erin Pringle, he is ridden at home by Elle Lloyd.

Enjoy is looked after and will be led up by Jan Soldan, he is ridden at home by Andy Llewelyn.
