Two runners today at Fakenham.

Both of these horses want decent ground so I’m hoping the conditions here are going to be pretty good as there’s more rain coming in after the weekend and they’d be back on hold .....again ??

Vinnie has had two sessions with Yogi Breisner since his first fence fall at Sandown last time out where he just didn’t get high enough.

He has been good but as you know we’ve never had a problem with his jumping at home, he’s very highly strung and at times he just doesn’t concentrate when in a racing situation.

Vinnie did put in an exceptional round of jumping on his first outing over fences at Wincanton when finishing second, they take some jumping around there which only makes him more frustrating.

Vinnie has plenty of ability but he does want good ground and regular racing to get the fizz out of him, let’s hope his fall last time out will concrete his mind.

Vinnie is a good looking tall horse, he’s good to deal with but he can be strong at times on the gallops.

He will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Makety has had a frustrating winter waiting for some decent ground, she ran ok on her only outing this season finishing fourth at Stratford but the ground was pretty tacky that day and she hated it.

Makety is a mare that does have talent she finished fourth in a nice novice hurdle at Newbury last season when looking the likely winner at one stage.

We then decided to put her away because she’d had an interrupted season and we thought she could only improve, I really like her.

Makety is a very honest, willing mare who loves her work and schooling....she’s really quick over her obstacles.

She will be ridden by Liam Heard.

Vinnie is looked after, will be led up and is ridden at home by Megan Brown.

Makety is looked after by Amy Deans she shares riding her out with Clare Robinson who is going to lead her up.
