29th April - Perth
One runner today at Perth.
Keith has had a frustrating season, this has been for a few reasons including a career high handicap mark after a good winter last year.
It’s often the case with handicappers, they have a ceiling and once they reach that mark they need to drop again in order to be competitive.
Keith reached a mark of 129 last winter after winning the Sussex National and he has now dropped back down to 110.
This means he should now be on a winnable mark but unfortunately we’ve had such a dry spring we’ve not been able to find the right races on his favoured soft/heavy ground.
Keith has been in tremendous form at home of late, bucking and messing around like he used to as a youngster he will love this trip but the ground wouldn’t be ideal, it’ll be safe so he’ll take his chance.
Keith is a character at home that everyone loves, there is no harm in him but he does love to be Jack the lad in the string.
He will be ridden by Alain Cawley,
Seaston Spirit is looked after and will be led up by Marcel Danihel, he is ridden at home by Megan Brown or James Luck.
