Gloria is a big mare who takes a lot of getting fit, she looked rusty at Newbury on her first outing last month and I’ve re fitted her with blinkers today just to sharpen her up.

Gloria has plenty of ability but she can be frustrating, I don’t think she’s dishonest, she just needs a bomb up her arse at times to make her concentrate and cop on.

She will love the ground.

Gloria is a lovely looking mare, she’s very easy to deal with and she’s lazy on the gallops.

Papa won first time out at Kempton in a listed race, she was obviously fit enough to do herself justice that day but there was a lot of improvement in her, she wasn’t fully would up.

Papa is as honest as the day is long, she usually jumps well and like all good stayers she races behind the bridle which enables her to stay on strongly.

Paisley Park is quite rightly the odds on favourite but it will be interesting to see how Papa gets on against the rest of the field on ground that she loves and in receipt of seven pounds, it will let us know where we aim with her in the second half of the season.

Papa is a stunning mare, she’s easy to deal with usually good to ride, although she has been very fresh at home lately.

They will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Got Away is looked after and will be led up by Mila Lunackova, she is ridden at home by Stefan Namesansky.

Papagana is looked after and will be led up by Jan Soldan, she is ridden at home by Charlotte Reid.
