Two runners today.

Ludlow 3.35pm Cervaro Mix runs in a novice hurdle over 2m.
Alan only just failed to give away seven pounds to Oakley here on his last appearance, the winner went on to win again next time out.
We sent Alan away for a break after that run because he’d had a few quick runs he’s only a baby and he wants better ground.
He came back from his break looking fantastic.

Alan has improved with each race and there is still more to come but he is far from the finished article yet.

This race looks competitive on paper, I thought it would cut up more but he deserves to take his place.

Alan is a pretty straightforward horse at home but he can be keen on the gallops.

He will be ridden by Gavin Sheehan.

4.35pm Versifier runs in a novice handicap hurdle over 2m 4f.
Versifier has been a model of consistency but sadly as a result she is probably still five pounds higher than she should be.
Versifier needed her race more than I expected last time out, she had suffered a setback around Christmas time which put her on the easy list for a couple of weeks but she had done plenty of work in the build up to that race.
She is a mare that works very well at home, she finds it all easy so she caught me out a bit.

Versifier is a lovely mare to deal with, good to ride and easy in her stable.

She will be ridden by Harry Beswick.

Cervaro is looked after and will be led up by Flora Alessandroni, he is ridden at home by Andy Llewellyn.
Versifier is looked after and will be led up by Erin Pringle, she is ridden at home by Mila Lunackova.
