One runner today at Uttoxeter.

12.50pm Captain Peacock runs in a novice hurdle over 2m.
Captain Peacock is running over hurdles for the first time following a successful middle distance flat career with William Knight.
Captain Peacock has done plenty of schooling since he arrived here and has always been willing and capable, he is a horse that obviously works nicely at home....
Captain Peacock is a gentle person to deal with and a gentleman to ride, he’s a pleasure to have in the yard.

You never know how flat horses are going to take to jumping in public until you try but he has never seemed phased by schooling at home so hopefully he will enjoy the new experience.

He will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Captain Peacock is looked after and will be led up by Peter Tuma, he is ridden at home by Josh Apiafi who also owns part of him.
