Two runners today at Ludlow.

12.20pm Cervaro Mix runs in a novice hurdle over 2m.
Alan was very brave when winning at Huntingdon last time out, he really battled from the last and beat a subsequent winner that had decent flat form behind him.
He had a hard enough race that day, so we have given him time to recover and freshen him back up and he has been in good form lately.
Cervaro loves his jumping, he is very slick over a hurdle, he also works nicely.

My one concern would be the ground but it never gets heavy at Ludlow as it’s a light soil, also it’s the first race of the day so they will get the freshest ground.

Alan is a sweet person to deal with, he can sometimes be keen on the gallops but he is good to ride otherwise.

He will be ridden by Daryl Jacob.

12.55pm Piton Pete runs in a beginners chase over 2m 4f.
Pete shaped well enough on his first outing over fences at Ascot.
His jumping was good in the main, they are big fences around there and though he landed a bit steeply over a couple early on he really got the hang of it at the end and was a fast finishing fifth.
The ground was good that day and all he did was stay, the softer conditions and extended trip today will suit him more.

Pete has been buzzing at home in the last two weeks.
You know when he’s raring to go again because he gets more feisty in his stable making faces and threatening to kick, he’s also demolished two rugs in the last week, tore them to pieces.

He will be ridden by Conor Shoemark.

Alan is looked after and will be led up by Flora Allesondroni, he is ridden at home by Andy Llewellyn.

Pete is looked after by Kai Lenihan, he will be led up by Nikola Studena and he is ridden at home by Tarnya
