One runner today at Doncaster.

Walter has had a frustrating season, he tweaked something early on in his first outing at Fontwell when attempting to jump the path and faded tamely to be fifth, he then cut out half a mile from home at Exeter on his next run.

We were suspicious of how quickly he stopped at Exeter so we sent him off to Ben Brain to be checked out, he subsequently had wind surgery and this is his first outing since.

Walter is a tall chasing type who needs to now show on a racecourse what he shows us at home in order to warrant persevering with.

He is a gentle giant to deal with and he’s usually good to ride although he does have a mighty buck in him when he’s fresh.

He will be ridden by Richie McLernon.

Walk In The Wild is looked after and will be led up by Harry Brown who also rides him at home.
