1.00pm Rhebus Road runs in a juvenile hurdle over 2m

Rhebus Road has only recently joined us from Ralph Beckett’s yard where he won twice and was placed five times from ten starts.

After leaving Ralph, Rhebus had a short spell with Henrietta Knight for some intensive jumping before arriving at Neardown.

He has had several schooling sessions here since then and his jumping is generally good, he’s got scope and he’s natural over an obstacle.

With only four runners this looked a good race to start his hurdling campaign but it is a competitive race on paper, Rhebus was a staying type on the flat so I’m sure he will want further than this two mile trip eventually.

Rhebus is not over big but he’s well put together, he’s easy to deal with, in fact he’s a bit of a dude at home…. slightly cheeky but harmless.

He will be ridden by Jonathan Burke.

Rhebus Road is looked after and will be led up by Lisa Falkowski, he is ridden at home by Tarnya.
