16th October - Uttoxeter
One runner today at Uttoxeter.
Ocean Drifter or Murphy as Beth calls him won a point to point before joining us and finished a creditable third in a decent bumper at Hereford on his only outing since.
He’s a horse that schools very well at home, he’s sharp and economical over his hurdles.
Murphy is a busy horse who can be pretty keen at times so I am starting him over the minimum trip today for that reason, he will want further once he relaxes.
Murphy is a slightly nervy type, he’s quite suspicious by nature but he does enjoy his work and schooling and seems honest in himself.
He will be ridden by Jonathan Burke.
Ocean Drifter is looked after and will be led up by Beth Dutton, he is ridden at home by Kai Lenihan.
