One runner today at Cheltenham.

Jersey Bean is a very genuine and consistent performer who is generally a good jumper.

He will improve from his last race at Newbury, which was his first after a winter break, as he takes more work than you’d expect for a slight horse.

Bean loves top of the ground and he is a proper stayer, hopefully today he can continue in the same form he’s been in this season.

Bean is a likeable, happy chappie... he’s a cheeky amusing horse to have in the string and Gracie adores him

He will be ridden by Brendan Powell.

Jersey Bean is looked after, ridden at home and he will be led up by Gracie O’Reilly.

As a footnote to yesterday Le Boulevardier was jumping and travelling perfectly well until he made a complete horlicks of the fourth last hurdle, he totally lost his confidence and pulled up after the following hurdle.

It happens and it’s just unfortunate because we’ve worked hard on getting him to enjoy his jumping, which he has been.

He wasn’t totally sound afterwards but it appears to be just a bang, he’ll be fine n a couple of days.
