Two runners today at Plumpton

Devonshire Rocco runs in the Maiden Hurdle over 2m 4f at 1:30PM

Devon looked disappointing in his bumper last season, but when he came back home we found that he had a fracture in his hind leg which was operated on and had a few screws put in.

Devon summered well and last time out at Chepstow we thought he ran well, he ran green early on but we were happy with the way he finished his race, his jumping was exceptional and he came out of the race well and has been working nicely at home since.

Devon is a staying chaser in the making but he just needs to learn more and that will come with the more racing he does.

Milly's Daughter runs in the Mares Bumper at 3:30pm

I trained Milly's mother to win a listed hurdle around Taunton, she was a tough filly who loved the mud and this is her first foal.

Milly is a very relaxed character at home and doesnt flash in her work, she has lovely attitude and takes everything in her stride.

We've done as much as we can at home with her and this will be very much a look and learn experience with her. As you know my bumper horses aren't primed to the minute so whatever she does today she is sure to improve for the run.

they are both ridden today by Johnny Burke

Devon is looked after and will be lead up by Louis Wicks and is riddne at home by Lisa Falkowski

Milly is looked after by Jill, led up by Louis Wicks and ridden at home by Shannon Pasotti
