Vinnie The Hoddie runs in the 1.10pm a novice chase over 2m 3f.

Vinnie jumped extremely well first time over fences at Wincanton, a course that takes some jumping, he then wasn’t really concentrating when unseating Lash at the second fence next time out.
It was just one of those things, he’s always schooled nicely at home but he can get lit up at times and I think the big field that day meant he wasn’t exactly thinking about the job in hand.

Vinnie does want good ground and Doncaster has a lighter soil that drains well and you will get better ground there than at most other places when the weather is so wet, although it’s still bound to be softer than ideal.

Vinnie has run well here before and with so few runners I’m hoping we can get get some more experience into him ahead of a spring campaign on his favoured ground.

Vinnie is quite highly strung, he’s pretty good most of the time but he can boil over on occasions, Megan does a good job with him.

He will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Vinnie is looked after, will be led up and is ridden at home by Megan Brown.
