Two runners today at Fontwell

7.05pm What A Glace - Handicap Hurdle, 2m4f

Windy was a bit disappointing last time out at Huntingdon but it was a conditional jockeys race which did get a bit messy at times causing him to go wide.

He had shown reasonable form previous to that, he has been a work in progress as he can be very keen and he needed to learn to relax.

Hopefully he can get back on track today.

Windy is a nice person to deal with but he’s quite busy to ride and he can be strong at times on the gallops.

8.10pm Newtonian - Bumper, 2m2f

This will be his first race.

Newtonian has a great attitude he is very laid back and only does what he has to at home but when he does get stoked up he can work nicely without being flashy.

He is a half brother to a mare I train called Makety and I’ve always thought a lot of her but she’s been desperately unlucky on a racecourse so she hasn’t realised her true potential.

Newtonian is such a dude at home, he basically walks around as if he’s half asleep and couldn’t give a stuff about anything.

They will be ridden by Jonathan Burke.

What A Glance will be led up by Tom Britten.

Newtonian will be led up by Mila Lunackova.
