One runner today at Exeter.

2.45pm Linkenholt runs in a novice hurdle over 2m 2f.
Linkenholt has been very disappointing in two bumper runs and yet he works nicely at home. He can be quite nervy and uptight so we think he might be holding his breath, it’s fairly unusual and not always easy to either detect or correct.
Icing On The Cake used to do it and we had to train him differently, doing a lot more longer slower work where he learnt to relax and breathe properly....
Linkenholt tends to get more uptight when he’s upsides, so he sits with another horse every day.
It might take him a couple of runs to relax and forget about other horses, maybe he will always be the same time will tell, fortunately he has a patient owner.
He has always schooled really well at home.

He will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Linkenholt is looked after and Marcel Danihel, he is ridden at home by Stefan Namesansky.
