Two runners today at Huntingdon.
1.30pm What A Glance runs in a conditional jockeys handicap hurdle over 2m 4f.
Windy has run perfectly well this season so far and he should fare better now he is handicapped, this is his first run in a handicap.
Windy can be a keen horse so hopefully there will be a strong gallop around here, as it’s a boys race it should be the case, so he can settle and finish his race well.
Windy will eventually want further than this once he relaxes properly in a race, he’s generally a good jumper.
Windy is a busy horse at home to ride but he’s easy to deal with in his stable.
He will be ridden by Kai Lenihan.
2.30pm Francolin runs in a novice hurdle over 2m.
Colin was way too keen in his first race, a bumper at Hereford, as a result he stopped quickly and all but pulled up half a mile from home.
When we began schooling Colin he was a natural (he had been schooled previous to arriving with us as he was going to go point to pointing) but he was still very strong in behind, we tried him in front and he relaxed more and concentrated on the job in hand.
We made the running with him on his debut over hurdles and he ran much better, he is very much a work in progress though because he really is a three mile chaser but as with What A Glance he has to relax more in his races first.
Colin is a tall good looking horse who can be strong to ride at home but he’s easy to deal with otherwise.
He will be ridden by Jonathan Burke.
What A Glance is looked after and will be up by Tom Britten who also rides him at home.
Francolin is looked after and will be led up by Mila Lunackova, he is ridden at home by Gracie O’Reilly.
