One runner today at Sandown.

Cossack ran ok in his first two races without being exciting, we thought it could be due to him being a big baby and a bit of a playboy but then he ran poorly at Doncaster in January and there was a suspicion about his wind.

We had him checked out and he did have a problem which was (I hope) rectified and this is his first run since.

Cossack is a horse I like and it would take a much improved effort on his previous outings for him to be capable of taking on a couple of these but I do think there is improvement in him and I would be pleased just to see him run a proper race and at least look like the horse we think he could be.

Cossack works nicely at home and he does seem to have grown up a lot, he’s such a good looking horse who can almost seem arrogant at times and when he’s fresh he can be a bit of a lad to ride.

He will be ridden by Jonathan Burke.

Cossack Dancer is looked after and will be led up by Marcel Danihel, he is ridden at home by Andy Llewellyn.
