One runner today at Fontwell.

Myrtle has been a difficult mare to train, it was mainly niggly little things before she fractured her pelvis last spring.

She had to have six weeks box rest before spending a further six weeks on the horse walker every day.

Since we’ve got her going again she’s been (touch wood) absolutely fine and she has done plenty of work.

Myrtle has always shown us plenty at home, she’s a good work horse and her schooling is faultless.

She has also had a wind operation since her last run.

I really hope she can show us on a racecourse what she shows us at home because her owners have been so patient.

She will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Myrtle is looked after and will be led up by Erin Pringle, she is ridden at home by Kai Lenihan.
