Three runners today at Kempton.

Safe Harbour has shown glimmers of ability but he has been a backward horse to train, mentally very immature, a big baby.

He disappointed on his first start this season at Doncaster in December, he travelled well until three out and then stopped very quickly.

He went off to Ben Brain the following week where he had a cauterisation of his soft palate, this is his first run since.

Safe Harbour is a big horse who can be lazy at home, he jumps his hurdles well and he will probably make a better chaser.

Dorrell Sage has had one run in a bumper last spring for his previous trainer, he didn’t show a lot that day.

Dorrell is a good looking son of Sageburg, he goes ok at home and is enthusiastic about his work.

He is a easy horse to do anything with and he’s good to ride, a very straightforward person.

Sevarano is a tall good looking son of Shantou, this will be his first race.

Sevarano works nicely at home, he is pretty lazy until he gets upsides and then he really cops on.

Sevarano is a nice person who is basically good to ride at home though he can be sharp if he does whip around.

Both of these horses have been waiting for better ground, as have a host of others so both of these bumpers are competitive looking events on paper with some very expensive animals taking part.

They will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Safe Harbour is looked after by C.J. he will be led up by Erin Pringle who looks after Sevarano so she will also lead him up.

Safe Harbour is ridden at home by Jan Soldan and Sevarano by Pavla Zgarbova.

Mr Dorrell Sage is looked after and will be led up by Marcel Danihel, he is ridden at home by Janine Hamilton.
