One runner today at Chepstow.
2.35pm Pontresina runs in a maiden hurdle over 2m 3f.
Pontresina won a two and a half mile point to point at Eyton On Severn when making all on his only previous run, I then purchased him from the Tattersalls Cheltenham sale in June for 40k.
Pontresina is not over big, about 16.1hh, if he had been a bit bigger I probably wouldn’t have been able to afford him as the horse he beat in his point sold for twice that price at Doncaster in May.

Pontresina is not at all flashy in his work but he does come alive on the schooling ground, his jumping is very good, he’s neat and athletic.

He is an easy horse to do anything with, good to ride and a sweet person in his stable.

He will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Pontresina is looked after, will be led up and is ridden at home by Hannah Benson.
