One runner today at

Jersey wonder has thoroughly enjoyed his transition from flat to hurdling improving with each race.

He was a decent stayer on the flat for Jamie Osborne so it seemed obvious that he would improve for a step up to three miles last time out at Exeter but until you run you don’t know for certain that will be the case, obviously it did suit him and he looked pretty impressive that day.

This is a big step up in grade but it seemed the perfect time to try whilst he’s still at the right end of the handicap,he’s been in very good form since his last race and I’m happy with him.

My only slight concern would be that his best form on the flat was on good ground, he finished third at Fontwell in softish conditions but if it came up very soft on watered ground that might be a concern, let’s hope they don’t get as much rain as is forecast.

Jersey Wonder is a cheeky horse at home but he’s good to ride and he loves his jumping.

He will be ridden by Aidan Coleman.

Jersey Wonder is looked after and he will be led up by Beth Dutton, he is usually ridden by Mila Lunackova.
