7th November - Newbury
Gloria’s last two runs are largely best ignored.
Gloria’s penultimate race found her in front too soon when the favourite pulled up after a bad blunder, she did a bit too much in front and didn’t quite get home.
Her final run in June was just one race too many and she was ready for her break.
Gloria came from France with good form and initially she struggled with our fences, the French fences can be brushed through and when she tried to do that here it caught her out, she has enormous scope it was just a case of re-education.
Gloria has a lot of talent and she will improve for today’s race, her relaxed attitude means she takes a lot of work but I’m still hopeful of a good run.
Gloria is a big mare who is horizontal at home, she’s very easy to deal with and good to ride.
She will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.
Gloria is looked after by Mila Lunackova she will be led up by Marcel Danihel, she is ridden at home by Stefan Namesansky.
