One runner today at Fontwell.

Euxton is a huge horse and he is very much what his owner loves, a staying chaser in the making.

His schooling at home is very good but on a racecourse hurdles almost get in his way, he doesn’t respect them. He will jump a fence better than he jumps a hurdle.

Euxton ran a blinder last time out at Southwell, he finished second to Global Citizen (who after winning the Dovecote now has a mark of 149), he took his time to warm up that day but was doing his best work at the end of the race.

The winner hacked up but Euxton beat the others fair and square.

Euxton is a bit of a beast in the string, he would attack another horse that gets too close to him, or that gets into his personal space.

He’s a sweet horse in his stable thankfully and he works nicely at home.

He will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Euxton is looked after and will be led up by Marcel Danihel, he is ridden at home by Stefan Namesansky.
