One runner today at Southwell.

3.35pm Euxton Lane runs in a novice hurdle over 2m.

Euxton is a huge horse and I think he has enormous potential but as with all embryonic chasers this novice hurdle season is an experience gathering mission for him.
Euxton ran well in his bumper before disappointing in his first hurdle race, he ran better at Doncaster last time out but he is still a bit on the weak side and didn’t quite get home.

I think Euxton will jump a fence better than he jumps a hurdle, he finds hurdles almost too small for him.

Euxton is a good work horse, he finds everything very easy at home.

He is a nice person in his stable but a bit of a beast out on the downs, he would attack another horse if they get too close to him.

He will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.
Euxton is looked after and will be led up by Marcel Danihel he is ridden at home by Stefan Namesansky.
