5.00pm Mistersister runs in a handicap hurdle over 2m 4f.

Mistersister unfortunately broke a blood vessel when last seen in January, that was when my horses were all wrong so I’m hopeful that was the reason.

He has been given plenty of time to recover and he’s been back in good form lately, he showed promise for Charlie Mann the season before last and his debut for us at Sandown was encouraging.

Mistersister is a very straightforward horse to train, he’s a nice person and good to ride.

He will be ridden by Alfie Jordan.

5.35pm Newtonian runs in a maiden hurdle over 2m 6f

Newtonian is a bit of a plonker, he’s got plenty of ability but he can be very sloppy with his jumping at times.

He can jump really well but he loses concentration, last time he hadn’t put a foot wrong for over a circuit before falling five out…. ??‍??

I sent him over to Henrietta Knight the following day to see if she could get him to think on his feet and she schooled him over copious amounts of all different types of obstacles, including loose plenty of schooling. She said he jumped 99 out of a 100 well and then bang he would completely fluff one without any reason.

Newtonian is totally horizontal at home, all he does is eat and sleep.

6.10pm What’s Occurring runs in a handicap chase over 3m 2f.

Gavin is a delicate horse to train which is why he is so lightly raced, he has shown ability but because we never seem to get a good run at it he’s not really fulfilled that promise.

Gavin is a confidence horse and after a nasty fall at Southwell nine months ago it took us a while to get him back, he schools very well at home but on a racecourse he still occasionally lacks some conviction over his fences.

Gavin is the sweetest horse you would ever meet, he’s very gentle and kind. He’s good to ride but he can be strong at times on the gallops.

They will be ridden by Jonathan Burke.

Mistersister is looked after, will be led up and he is ridden at home by Harry Brown.

Newtonian is looked after, will be led up and he is ridden at home by Cameron Johnstone Baker.

What’s Occurring is looked after and will be led up by Marcel Danihel, he is ridden at home by Stefan Namesansky.
