One runner today at Chepstow.

This will be his first race.

Geurlain is a tall fairly unfurnished horse who was ready to run in a point to point in Ireland last spring, due to the lack of rain he didn’t manage to get onto a racecourse but he was schooled and ready to go.

He had a good summer out and was bought by The Million In Mind syndicate and sent here to Neardown in August.

Guerlain is a very good jumper, as you would expect from any horse who comes from The Crawford academy, who is having a spin in a bumper for a bit of experience before going in to race over obstacles.

Guerlain is not a flashy type but he’s honest in his work, he’s generally good to ride.

He will be ridden by Jonathan Burke.

Guerlain De Vaux is looked after and will be led up by Shannon Pascotti, he is ridden at home by Stefan Namesansky.
