2nd May - Warwick
5.50pm Jersey Lady showed good form in her first bumper and hurdle races but she has had her issues in between.
She became very keen and gassy after her first race, which she won this took time to resolve and then hurdles seemed to settle her back down again.
Jersey Lady won her first hurdle race and was then placed before becoming stressed and agitated in her races again causing her to try and run away, a wind problem was diagnosed and Ben Brain rectified the issue.
She was very good at Ffos Las last time out when winning in good style, hopefully that has given her the confidence to know she can breathe properly again.
Jersey Lady is a sweet filly to deal with but she can be keen and strong at times on the gallops, Beth does a good job with her and I’m hoping she will continue to improve as she relaxes in her races.
She will be ridden by Jonathan Burke.
Jersey Lady is looked after, will be led up and she is ridden at home by Beth Dutton.
