3rd April - Hereford & Plumpton
Herford & Plumpton
Trevada has won and been placed in bumpers before joining me, he’s a full brother to a potentially very good horse that I trained for Trevor Hemmings called Tarada and that is why he came to us to be leased by the Hot To Trot (jumping) syndicate.
Trevada is a big horse who will make up into a lovely chaser, he’s not similar to look at as Trevada but he does seem to have a good way of going so hopefully he can continue the talented family line.
Trevada was bred by Robert & Jackie Chugg of Little Lodge Farm, Robert was a great friend of mine for many, many years and he recently passed away, he was a fantastic character who commanded so much respect within our industry and also the breeding & bloodstock world.
I’d love this horse to run well in tribute to his him but whatever he does over hurdles would be a bonus as was the case with Tarada.
Trevada is an easy horse to deal with, he’s got a very honest attitude and his schooling has been good.
He wouldn’t run if the ground is described as fast.
He will be ridden by Jonathan Burke.
Flash has become very frustrating of late, he’s a horse with plenty of ability but he’s become a bit cute at the business end of a race for no apparent reason.
Obviously there is nothing physically wrong with him, because he’s been checked from head to foot, it’s in his head.
Therefore we’ve freshened him right up, he’s been to the beach, been hunting changed routine anything in an attempt to rekindle his enthusiasm.
Flash has been in cracking form again at home, he’s never not enjoyed his work life, we just have to hope he’s back to his old self with confidence restored.
Flash is a good looking son of Stowaway, he’s a lovely mover and as his name suggests flashy. His owners Sue & Joe Norman adore him and they have had a lot of fun with him but also a lot of frustration so let’s hope he can get back on track today.
He will be ridden by Alfie Jordan.
Trevada is looked after by Alfie Jordan who also rides him out at home, he will be led up by Cameron Johnstone Baker.
Manning Estate is looked after by Alfie Jordan, he will be led up by Megan Brown and he is ridden at home by Harry Brown.
