One runner today at Ayr.

Bean has been a wonderfully consistent horse since the application of blinkers two seasons ago, he was never ungenuine they merely helped him with his jumping making him more slick over his obstacles.

Bean was very brave last time out when winning at Haydock over half a mile less than this, he was giving nearly two stone to the runner up and he battled hard from the last to just get up on the line.

In a perfect world I would have given him a prep run a month ago but he can’t handle very soft conditions and as my horses weren’t right at that time it didn’t work out, he’s obviously fit but it would just have sharpened him up.

Bean is a character at home who never fails to make you smile with his enthusiasm, he’s generally good to ride and he and Tara have a wonderful relationship.

He will be ridden by Brendan Powell.

Jersey Bean is looked after by Cameron Johnstone Baker, he will be led up by Harry Brown and he is ridden at home by Tara Moore.
