1st December - Lingfield & Southwell
Three Runners Today
Brave Bairn runs in a bumper over 2m.
Brave Bairn looked as if she was going to be fourth on her debut at Taunton when fading in the last furlong, she had done a little bit too much early on in the race so she just ran out of steam.
It was an encouraging first run, she’s a very laid back filly at home so it was unexpected that she ran with the choke out, there’s a lot of improvement in her.
Brave Bairn is an easy horse to deal with at home and she’s good to ride.
She will be ridden by Gavin Sheehan.
Southwell 2.00pm What A Glance runs in a maiden hurdle over 2m.
What A Glance ran nicely enough on his debut under rules when finishing third, he had a few traffic problems, which isn’t unusual at Lingfield but he was really staying on well to the line.
Windy is a good looking horse who enjoys his schooling at home, he’s a good workhorse who is a thorough galloper.
He will be ridden by Jonathan Burke.
Brummie finished fourth on his seasonal debut at Fontwell, it was ok but I was a bit disappointed by the way he travelled, the ground wasn’t very nice but I wouldn’t use that as an excuse.
Brummie will enjoy this step up in trip today, he’s by Flemensfirth and they’re usually staying types, this is his first run in a handicap.
Brummie is a straightforward horse at home, he’s good to ride and deal with.
He will be ridden by Brendan Powell.
Brave Bairn is looked after and will be led up by Megan Brown, she is ridden at home by Mila Lunackova.
What A Glance is looked after will be led up and is ridden at home by Tom Britten.
Brummie Boys is looked after and will be led up by Lenka Helmecka, he is ridden at home by Stefan Namesansky.
