Five runners today and one tomorrow, I’ve got an early start as I’m off to Bangor and I’m also posting tomorrow’s runner now because we are flat out and I’ve got The Million In Mind Open Day at the yard tomorrow morning.

Bangor.
12.20pm Euxton Lane runs in a beginners chase over 2m 4f.
Euxton ran a cracker first time over fences at Carlisle last month, he jumped well and traveled particularly nicely.
He jumped the third last a bit slowly and when Leighton gave him a smack down the shoulder he came back onto the bridle and got right back up behind the first two home, they then pulled away in the style of two smart horses.
As is usual Leighton wasn’t hard on him when he knew he couldn’t beat them, Euxton is still a long way from the finished article.

Euxton was a bit quiet for a couple of weeks after that race, it’s a long way to travel and the ground was pretty testing, he’s only come back to life again in the last ten days.

12.55pm Broughton’s Rhythm runs in a handicap chase over 2m 1f.
Broughton’s was desperately unlucky at Lingfield last time out when unseating Aiden at the last fence.
The winner was leaning into him all the way up the home straight and it intimidated Broughton’s, he lost his concentration and made a hash of the fence, he’s normally a very sound jumper.

Broughton’s is a consistent horse who loves soft ground.

3.45pm Donladd runs in a bumper over 2m.
Donladd is a gelding by Cloudings, he’s a good looking boy who works nicely without being flashy.
He has a lovely attitude to his work and I’m looking forward to seeing him run.

Donladd is very chilled at home, he’s good to ride and easy to deal with.

They will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Newbury.
1.20pm Minella On Line runs in a handicap chase over 2m 6f.
Nelly is an infuriating horse, he has a ton of ability but is let down by his jumping.
He is the best jumper you will ever see ninety percent of the time and then he loses concentration and bang he will rugby tackle a fence, he rarely falls but is very difficult to stay aboard.
Nelly is a very big good looking son of Kings Theatre, he is re fitted with the cheek pieces today to help him concentrate.

He will be ridden by Conor Shoemark.

2.25pm What’s Occurring runs in an intermediate hurdle, this is a listed race over 2m.
Gavin has won his first two starts over hurdles this season at Hereford and is now taking a huge step up the ladder in this listed race but he deserves to take his chance.
This is a handicap so he is running off a nice low weight, you have to weigh up the options if I think he is potentially very well in as opposed to is he ready for a race of this nature.
Time will tell.

Gavin is very much a chaser in the making and he does work nicely at home, he can boil over at times but he is so much better now than he was.

He will be ridden by Aiden Coleman.

Sunday Carlisle.

1.25pm Got Away runs in a mares Chase, this is a listed race over 2m 4f.
Gloria is a mare with a huge amount of talent but she is another horse that has lapses in concentration, her jumping is usually very good but occasionally she forgets to put her landing gear down.
Gloria has had a couple of sessions with Yogi Breisner this autumn and has done extensive schooling, I can do no more it’s up to her now.
She is wearing cheek pieces for concentration.

Gloria seems to be a better mare at home this season, stronger and she is moving really well.
I hope that transfers to a racecourse.

She will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.

Euxton is looked after and will be led up by Marcel Danihel, he is ridden at home by Stefan Namesansky.
Broughton’s is looked after by Peter Tuma and will be led up by Jan Soldan who also rides him at home.
Donladd is looked after by C.J. he will be led up by Marcel, he is ridden at home by Jan Soldan.

Minella is looked after, will be led up and is ridden at home by Gracie O’Reilly.
Gavin is looked after and will be led up by Nikola Studena, he is ridden at home by Nick Bentley.
Gloria is looked after by Quinten Leceour, she will be led up by Andy Llewellyn who also rides her at home.
